Thanks! This is my first time doing both the Finale & Nats. It will be a fun trip. I'm looking forward to using the Finale to get used to the surface & do final sorting on the car. I've only got 22 points so I'm not expecting much, but I do hope to make some of the AWD drivers sweat a little.

Don't forget the RX8's older brothers(RX7) class,SSM, running Thu-FRi Heat 3. SSM is again top heavy with RX7's. Carter and I will be trying our RX7. We have almost completed all our suspension/drivetrain mods ( very expensive to do right) but motor is still stock so we will be down 100HP to the big boys.....if the courses are more speed maintenace than brute power Carter should be on their bumpers cause this car handles great with 315 fronts and 335 rear rubber.

No aero yet. Our build plan is in 3 stages...1. Suspension/drivetrain 2.Motor 3. Aero. We will only have stage 1. completed for Nats this year....never enough time but it should still be big time fun.As much fun as the RX8 was to drive this thing is ridiculous.
The motor plan is interesting. We have an RX8 engine and Carter is going fab a single turbo and try something never done before...we think....RX8 motor in an RX7.Wish us luck, we will need it.

Jim,
Best of luck to you and Carter.
I'm very interested in seeing what you guys are able to do with the 13B-MSP in the SSM RX-7!

Jim,
I'll be there watching you guys and rootin' you on although the Doc and I traded some parts several years ago when I had my FD so I have to give him some props for setting the course for SM2/SSM.
Car looks good too!

Next year I'll be back!
I have a bunch of mods I need to do this Winter to get the car better prepped for the class. Hopefully everything will come together nicely in the next 4-6 months.

Thanks Mike. I feel with a little more development (i.e. less weight and more power), the car will be capable of even more.
I expect to see you vying for a trophy! Good luck out there.
