Looks like CS could get pretty interesting in 2010...

The MS-R's are fast, but so are the drivers who've campaigned them at some point - Buetzer, Fenter, Cawthorne, Wilcox & Disimo. I'll be interested in seeing how things pan out in this class over the next 1-2 years. Should be quite interesting...

Chris Fenter has now posted that he'll be rolling in his MS-R for 2010 in CS. I'll be keen to see how this class shakes out, especially if Junior drives a 370Z. Lots of top talent, trying to get it done in different cars.

Now that FatCat has got some dampers going for the Solstice, I might try out some of them 285-30-18 H tires on the ZOK.(that was one size we never got around to trying)
Love my rear dampers..Happy with FSB. Brakes work perfect for me.
Always been on stock shocks in front till now though.
Is there any speed left in the car and driver?
I think that there is a little bit left.
As long as family health issues work themselves out, I might see if the car still handles as well as I remember.
That or a F125 or get the TTRX7R1 built back up for stock class with my new knowledge and car classing.

I will be racing in CS this year, although it will be my first season in the RX-8 and I will probably keep my events more local until I get more comfortable with my driving abilities, but I plan on making all the MidDivs this year to see how I compare divisionally. I have done four seasons in the Kansas City region with my '93 300ZX in ESP and won the KCR championship in 2008 and runner-up in 2009. I am hoping I can do better with the 8 since it is much more competitive than the 300ZX was in ESP.

Off to have some fun with the Squealie Tire Warriors in 2010. Watch for some ongoing vehicle build and test articles in Grassroots Motorsports Mag. later this year.

Awesome! Looking forward to the articles. I'm actually learning a lot about how to set-up my car for STX, from the NC guys over at miata.net.
Btw, is your 2010 MX-5 a 6spd?

Thought I would ask this here in the CS family vs. a new thread.
Having just moved from the 710 245's to the A6 285's can I get some suggestions for a starting point on tire pressures?
I remember moving from K to H tires on my FD and moving up a few pounds.
Thanks,
Tomas
