Hey have folks who had the recall been allowed to keep their original LCAs? Mazda here seems to want to send them to corporate.

Since it’s a safety issue I’d think they want to make sure the parts get destroyed/removed from service

No clue what their plans are, but I have a few questions.

Mazda completed the LCA recall by installing the OEM end links (10mm studs) to my Racing Beat sway bar which was previously using the Racing Beat end links with 12 mm studs.

A. is this ok...do I leave it as is?
B. should I purchase a new sway bar that wasn't drilled out to fit 12mm studs?
C. can I re-install/use the racing beat end links with 12mm studs by drilling a bigger hole in the LCA's?

Found a solution. Going with choice C.
