ahh... overloaded bearings could only happen if the offset was way dif from stock.... which can't happen because 275s need to be on close to stock offset wheels in the 1st place or the don't fit.

it still can happen - if you use your rx8 on a track and put some sticky 275 you'll be pulling way over 1g - that can hurt your bearings.

sorry but I don't agree...stock 225s can pull up to 1.2-1.3G and 275 only up it to 1.3-1.4 ... I've done it 100s of times myself... and if way more than that margin of safety isn't there aready (of course it is) RX-8 wheels would be flyin off all over... think of how many autox corners taken and spinouts done, how many track day miles completed since 2003.... with narry a wheel coming off. Anything CAN happen, but not because of 275 tires...
