For sale is a XcarLink iphone/ipod audio interface for Mazda vehicles. This newer model V6 was used for just over a year in a 2004 Mazda RX8. It works well. I sold my RX8 recently, so I have no use for it now.

This kit includes the Bluetooth handsfree kit, which allows you to connect to your iphone without wires. However, if you wish to connect it via wire, it uses a 40-pin adapter by default (iphone 4 and earlier). If you want to connect an iphone 5/6 which uses the lightning adapter, you'll need a 40-pin to 8-pin converter. I used one, and it did just fine when I needed to charge the phone. However, the converter is not necessary if you do not plan to charge your phone with this kit.

Because I cannot guarantee it will work for your specific RX8, I am not offering refunds. If you own a 2004-2005 Mazda RX8 which has the headunit's firmware version set to 9.55 or greater, you should not have any problems.
