Sure... I accept payment plans. Pay me with your credit card, and they will give you a flexible payment schedule =)

write check for turbo. $5k.

payment = $279 a month.

credit card is no dumber than anything else. borrowing is borrowing.

They used to put people to death if they charged money to borrow money. These days it's a lucrative business.

no! Get a secured loan from your bank. That's the best route.

unsecured?! haha!!
Have you LOOKED at those rates??? Banks are getting killed on secured loans @ 7%, what do you think they're going to offer you UNSECURED.

Say hello to my friend Mr. 19.9%.

but then what happens when you need a tune, and god forbid you blow your engine? Then what?

If you dont have the cash for this up front you should save yourself the headache, this will not end well.

FWIW I've got a good lending history with a locally own/run bank here and can get an unsecured for around 6%. My car note is only at 4%, and it's not even a credit union.

The kicker is my credit's not wonderful due to a failed business I had, but I've borrowed so much from this bank to pay that stuff off from the business, and paid it off ahead of time, so now they don't check my credit when I come in for something.

I don't think this really helps the guy trying to buy a turbo kit. I think he said he found a deal though, so all is good I suppose?
