WTB: Navigation prices?
I believe this has been discussed several times in the Stereo/Electronics forum. $600 for EVERYTHING is an unreal deal. Seems $1500+ is normal, but installation would be over a k by itself. Surely you'd top the 3k mark installed.
And why? When aftermarket navigation with a Magellan or Garmin unit can be had for a couple few hundred.....and crushes the OEM nav?? Or if you want to get fancy.... get a double din navigation headunit. $1500 for unit + $500 corksport kit = $2k and 1 hour labor in your driveway. 6.5 million points of interest PLUS the ability to play DVDs, music videos, RCA outputs to amps, etc,etc So there really is no reason one could want OEM navigation.
EDIT: Hell.... you could install a carputer with the navigation software for under $2k. Plus you'd have WiFi, unlimited storage of MP3s and movies, Bluetooth, anything....

I have a friend who was asking.. Not sure if he is selling one and wanted to know what price range to sell it for or if he wants to buy one for one of his cars. If he wants to sell one I will post it up for him.
