I haven't 100% decided to sell my Shine Auto Project Burnout II kit yet. If you've followed the forum, you might note that I'm the guy who bought the genuine KS-Auto Burnout II kit from Japan and had Shine replicate it in their flexible fiberglass compound. With the changes I requested to make it easier to mount on the RX-8. There are edges where the mounting adhesive tape goes, and holes drilled on either end of the side skirts. There are wider flanges on the front lip, and a tape edge on the rear "flares". All in all, it's a pretty easy package to mount, and it's genuinely difficult to destroy it. If you should happen to damage a piece, it can be repaired by Shine Auto Project! Amazing!
My pieces are finished in Velocity Red (factory paint) over a white primer, which is over a black primer, over a grey filler/smoother. The panels have all been flatboarded smooth, and look very good. There's some road wear on the undersides of the side skirts, but if you were going to refinish it anyway, that wouldn't matter.
Shine sells the whole package for aroun $800 I think. I'd sell my package for $550 plus shipping. From CA to MA, the shipping wouldn't be cheap, but the pieces are light enough that they're not very expensive. Much, MUCH lighter than either full-thickness fiberglass, carbon fiber, or urethane! Much!
