IL Sold - Winter Tires and Rims

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $700
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): AL
Item Condition: Used

*** SOLD ***

I recently traded my RX8 on a sedan. I needed the room. I purchased winter tires and rims a couple of years ago. Dunlop had a recall on those tires, so they were replaced with new tires prior to this last winter. I drove maybe 1,500 miles on these tires. Both the rims and the tires are in great shape. I am located in Danville, IL (about 35 miles from Champaign). I paid almost $1,300 for the tires and rims. I haven't found a good basis to set the price, so I am flexible on that within reason. I'd like to get around $800 for the set (lowered by $100) and prefer not to ship them, but will consider offers. TPMS is not included.

Here is a link to the rims at tirerack:

Here is a link to the tires. They are Dunlop Winter Sport 3Ds. Size is 225/50R17s

Here is a pic of one of the rims and tires (I wiped it down prior to taking the pic. You are seeing a little run inside the rim. That was wiped down afterwards). I also have the center caps for all 4 (same as the pic above), the centering rings, and all the lugs too:

If anyone has any interest or questions, please shoot me a PM.

I also have the OEM floor mats that came with the car (were in teh car about 2 weeks until the all weather ones arrived) and a front plate bracket.

I have those rims for my winter tires. They work good. You can't use the OEM lug nuts but a cheap winter set runs a $1 a lug at Advanced Auto.

Sounds like we had the same experience. I do have the additional lugs that are needed and will be included when I sell them. They were included with what Tirerack sent me.

I am flexible on the pricing. I wasn't sure what to list them for. If you are interested, I will consider offers.

I've lowered the price by $100, but would still consider offers. Thanks

I also wanted to point out that I did have 17" tires for the winter. I bought these based on the recommendation from Tirerack for sizing. The RX8 I had was a Touring that came with 18" tires. There are no clearance issues at all. The tires fit perfectly and were easy to get on and off.

Thanks
