Cool Wheel & tire set, 18" Staggered!

Edit: The wheels/tires are in Minnesota not in PR as my location suggests. I actually live in MN.

I am offering a set of staggered 18" ADRs in 18X8.5 and 18X9.5 with an offset of 35mm F and R. The really fill the gap the stock car has. The wheels are 10 months old and have no marks or scratches on them. They include 225-45-18 Bridgestone RE-040 in front and 275-35-18 Dunlop SP-01 in the rear(really "grippy" without being a drag radial which wont last long). All tires have about 40% thread left on them.

Price is set at $675.00 OBO for the entire set, I am not looking to negotiate but make an offer. I can ship at buyers expense but can get a good deal on shipping.

I don't have pictures but I have something better, they are the tires that are on the car in the promotional video for the Esmeril Racing RX-8 Turbo Kit. Go to our website www.esmerilracing.com, there is a link at the bottom of the products page to the video, about halfway through the video there is a really good take of the car sitting still while it gets started. Thanks for looking.

Chris

p.s. they are not black in the center they are gunmetal(dark metallic gray/silver)

Wheels are ADR Battle Axe Hyper-Black if I'm not mistaken. Just a FYI I bought the M-Classics (staggered 18s w/o tires) two days ago for $520 shipped off our favorite auction site. Factor in the cost of tires, and this could turn out to be a good deal depending on the shipping fees.

My suggesting to you is that... save a lil bit more money and get something slightly better. I had the wheels that Texak bought before, they weight quite a bit.. I noticed a huge diff when they were on the car, I think even weight more than my 19s...

Agreed. I just destroyed 2 rims last week, and with my current budget, these were a fair solution. Heavy rims, but hopefully not too noticeable for everyday driving.

I think the weight is something like 26 front, 27.5 rear. Can someone confirm?

The rims are Battle Exe but they are not hyper-black, they are gunmetal.

I can get a good deal on shipping and pass it on to the buyer.

Wow,those are heavy....hmm.....maybe because of all the spokes. The Battle Exe's are about 21 front and 23 rear and I believe that was the packaged weight in boxes from when I received them. I do remember them being lighter than the factory ones when I installed them.

I find those weights hard to believe. I just did a quick search and 17x7s are 22.5 lbs. 18x9.5 will obviously be much more.

That is very strange, I remember the UPS weights and they were not that high. And they were in boxes with tape and whatnot. I don't have a way to measure their weight right now. Either way when I installed the tires on the rims I remember them being lighter than the stock ones, probably because the stock ones are overbuilt. I guess I could be mistaken. Doesn't really matter, I drove them for almost a year with no complaints and the car didn't feel any different than with the stock ones(other than the added grip), if you are interested pm me for a shipping quote.

Chris

p.s.I'll try to weight them sometime over the next few days...although it won't do anything because they have tires installed right now.....crap

I have seen these in person many times and the offset and width look awesome!

Looks mean from the back.

Bump for a great enthusiast that is hell bent on making the 8 into a monster.
