One of my favorite cars when I was in high school. Sorry, I don't have a spare engine lying around but I would like to see pics of the car any way.

I would so do this trade if I had another spare motor.
I bought my TSi brand new in '89. Toasted the motor in '91. It was the first car I had ever owned with staggered wheel fitment from the OEM.
I've seen several CRAZY drag cars made from Conquests.

Unfortunately, the TSi motor is a truck motor by design, so it takes a careful hand to make it into a screamer.
However, with that huge stroke, it makes for some massive tire roasting!
I take one of those in a second!

Really, The '8 would look cool parked next to one.

 

DSM 1g eclipse/talon/laser motor bolts up and runs better. Its such a sweet car though, stock front mount is killer!

 

Trade only? Or sell it for cash to buy an engine?

 

Just curious, what was the mileage at when you blew your engine and how did it happen?
