Looking to buy a roof rack let me know what you have

i have yet to hear of anyone or have even seen a pic of an rx8 with a roof rack. you would have better luck trying to buy new.

 

not really. you can get a used yakima rack and just buy some Q towers that fit the RX8.

doesnt look too bad.

 

Ummm...maybe I'm NOT cool or w/e. But why would you want a roof rack on an 8?

 

call me whatever u want, but ive been considering a roof rack 2..lol..dont ask why, but yeah, ive just been waiting for someone 2 post some picks of theirs to see how it would look..lol..good luck on the search man! ur gonna be my inspiration if u get it and it looks good! lol

because not everyone lives in florida!

some places have snow... the 8 handles great in snow given the right tires.

But for real though knowing the 8 lacks on space y not get a beater to carry stuff. I'd be afraid to scratch the roof up is all.

 

if the beater is as cheap as the roof rack I will deffinitly buy it

 

I gottta be honest. I check the thread out on my phone an with the picture of that 8 at a normal view (it seems to be zoomed in ) it looks pretty good maybe a little custom coloring an BAM

i put my bike inside my 8, i too would rather have a roof rack but we have one for our other car instead.

 

I think the rx8 looks awesome with those yakima racks! I was thinking about putting one on for my mountain bike.

 

yup, was thinking of the same thing, but your mileage will drop even more so!

 

hmm I didnt really think about that, but it dosnt seam like itd be too much like not really noticeable, atleast i hope not

 

with just the rack on or the add on stuff?

like snowboard/ski/bike mount?


im sure you would loose more mpg if it was a bike than a snowboard.

i had this problem too! i ended up getting a soft rack from my local surf shop so i can take it off when im done.
