hey man, sorry to flake but I'm not going to be able to take it after all, I swear every time I show interest in something on here something else always seems to come up, sorry if I wasted your time and bump for a good deal

 

I have a CP Racing 3-point on my RX-7 (AND Protege5) and like them, a lot. It's cool he's throwing in the paint, too, because the paint CP uses is like fricken' fingernail polish or something.

The bar makes a noticeable difference on the track, though.

Nice decorative imitation of a four-point bar, the two points on the firewall are sad 10mm studs.

Good points are; nice looking, and the engine cover will still fit (unlike most aftermarket bars).

whoa. Mine came with a couple plate-like brackets that you bolt the bar to behind the firewall, so it makes the brace much more sturdy. Yours didn't come with anything like that?

 

No, bought used, but maybe it was just a very early model.

I got it man, thanks!!

I had to grind, cut, bend, and repaint to get it on but I like it. Very strong bar and I really like it. I just don't see how they can engineer and weld everything almost perfect but screw up the mounting points. But it was no big deal, and I got a chance to clean up the pop corn splatter
