NY Racing Beat Dual Resonated Midpipe

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price: $300
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Series II
Item Condition: Used

Up for sale is my Racing Beat Dual Resonated midpipe.
Has at the most 8,000 miles on it.
It has a small dent and a few scrapes but it still sounds as good as new. I also had a oil leak from my oil plan that drenched the whole underside of my car in oil and it got on the midpipe and there is tarnishing on the midpipe I got what I could off. Of course this is all superficial and has no effect on anything else obviously.

I took it off to go to the dealer to get some things looked at and never put it back on. I've gotten over the exhaust fumes (save some brain cells), girl doesn't like it when shes stuck in the car with it idling and on (or any passenger for that matter), and I dont have to worry about attracting unneeded attention. And frankly, I could definitely use the money elsewhere.

I bought it brand new for $350 in the winter, selling it for $300 OBO local pickup. I am in New York City. I don't want to ship this.

It doesnt get much louder at all, nearly stock. It gives a nice low rumble on revs tho. And yes the CEL comes on, as with any midpipe.

I had this midpipe and sold it once i sold the car and when the deal fell through i bought another for the car because it sounds that good. IMO best midpipe for the money, NO rasp and i have used this midpipe with the RB catback, AP catback, and the Greddy SP2 and it sounds amazing with all of them. I dont notice the smell unless i have the windows down and i am idling still.

i had a midpipe on my red rx-8. as long as i was rolling, fumes didn't come in the cabin. as soon as i stop at a red light, the windows got rolled up and the a/c got put on. otherwise, i was gassing myself to death. i had the turboxs midpipe with their catback and of course the midpipe made it extremely loud. i'd like to think that the racing beat mp would give a power gain and not be toooo loud.

it definitely gives a powergain! especially in the midrange ... you may loose some low end tho, but the trade off is worth it
