IA Racing Beat ac and oil cooler screen set

Category: Exterior - Body Parts
Price: $50
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Series I
Location (US State/Canada/Int): IA
Item Condition: New

I have a set of the racing beat ac, oil cooler, and radiator screens for sale. they came with my car when i bought it 2 weeks ago, but to be honest, ill never mount them. im 90% sure that the previous owner told me they were new, and he never mounted them either. Id like half of what they cost new ($100) or so, plus shipping. figure around $65 shipped anywhere in the continential states. If you worried about feedback, check the 7club. i have lots of positive experience on there. thanks!

It would be worth that much for you to install them, or at least that's what you will be thinking when you a small rock or a bee destroy your oil cooler.

GLWS tho. I'd buy 'em in a heartbeat, if I didn't already have them.

Also, you may want to throw some pics up, just because you are a new join on here.

I had a rock skip up and hit my ac condensor one summer afternoon and it all leaked out. I thought it was pretty stupid mazda didn't have some protection to begin with. I now have screens and a cooling system that is safer. Pretty much a no brainer to have these.

Instructions are on Racing Beat's site
http://www.racingbeat.com/manuals/11...d%20Screen.pdf

They did put a screen on the ac condensor of mid-05 and up. Sucks you didn't have it thecarter19. The Racing Beat screen is larger though.

was the build quality of the RX8 really that poor?
my FD has almost the exact same oil cooler, and its been fine for 15+ years... same location, etc. very interesting...

anyone who wants pictures, pm me your email address, and i can send pictures from my phone.

as for hardware and instructions, im not sure about the instructions, but as someone already said, if you can get them off of RB's website, try there.
for hardware, they come with a plastic bag of little brackets and i believe a few bolts. it looks like the correct hardware.

A small rock wont destroy them, but many small rocks over time will. I have an 09 with 26k miles on it and the oil coolers are getting beat on pretty hard. There are several spots where a large pebble has come and dented in 3-5 fins and other smaller areas. glws, but I would install them if I were you.

after looking a little harder, it does look as thought these have been installed at some point. i guess the previous owner did not install them, but whoever owned them before he did had installed them.
