but now this guy is a liar.
saying its authentic when its not, saying its brand new when it's been used.
but wb_rx8, did you drive it around for 6months unpainted??
I am not a liar. I was told these were authentic and brand new. Now that I know I have been lied to, I am literally just throwing these out as they have no value to me.

Proof that I was told that they were authentic. And I left before 7, not that it even matters anymore...I was living in VA Beach at my friends house on whatever break it was at the time. I go to school in Fairfax, VA at George Mason University and wasn't at school at the time. Like I said though, none of this matters as it was all falsely advertised to me, thus the reason I passed the information I was told on. Once I realized I was lied to (just now), I took them off the market. I use my exact name in all of my posts and I am trying to make a career in motorsports, why would I crap on my own name?

Sorry for all the questions...
Thanks,
Ryan
oh its okay lol. yeah they are authentic and im selling them cuz i sold the car yesterday. i now have a 2009 subaru wrx. im on spring break this week from school i have off of work on weds if you can make it down here that day. or the weekend works for me too

<= our conversation via PM'ing.

The only reason I post this is because I am being called a liar and am proving I had good intentions throughout this sale. Sorry for wasting all of your time guys.

By the way, I never would have driven up there OR bought these had I known they were replicas, I can buy those anywhere. I was lied to and I was ripped off. I am not going to do this to anyone else. I just think it is funny that wb-rx8 came on here to thread-crap me and admitted to selling me falsely advertised parts.

Btw goose, I would check now to ask to get your money back if you were lied to too about this, as he might have sold you a replica too (if he advertised it as authentic to you too).

By the way man, I'm gonna have to ask for my money back because this is BS. If you lied about what you sold me, I should be able to get my money back.

I have just spoken to my uncle (a lawyer) who says I have enough proof within my PM box to take this to court. So I'd appreciate a full paypal refund asap otherwise I will file the paperwork tomorrow. Thanks.

Maybe this is a dumb question, Would an authentic kit have R Magic stamped or embossed into it?

Honestly, if I get anything over the shipping cost for these I would be happy. Where do you live? Keep in mind, wb-rx8 said they were on his car before and I think he said the fitment wasn't perfect...

They were just primered. Looked the exact same as the Mazdaspeed Replica I own and am trying to sell as well. I didn't think that someone would install it primered. It was in good condition. I saw the bumper he had removed from his car and it was painted winning blue so I figured he would have painted the sideskirts had he installed them.

Nah im cool man, i know the original owner of the rmagic parts, including my front bumper, and i know for a fact that my front is authentic as im still friends with the guy who actually imported it from japan.

but yeah the sides are reps since he had a set of those too. I wouldnt just throw em away tho, ill buy em for less if you wanna get some of your money back..

I don't see you getting your money back on these even in court. You should of inspected them better and most likely at one point he told u he wasn't sure if their authentic or not.

He never told me he wasn't sure. He was always 100% sure that they were authentic. He even says in this thread that he told me they were authentic and never looked back so I have proof here that he knowlingly lied about it.

BTW, does anyone know what the difference between an authentic and replica version of the R-Magic Sideskirts is? Besides good fitment obviously...something I should have been able to see? If not, it would have been impossible for me to know. Just wondering, thanks guys.

Most authentic pieces do come with a stamp of some sort to prove they are authentic.

First of all dude I was told these were authentic when I bought them. Hence the reason why on both forsake threads I had stated they were authentic. When I sold them to you I was still under the impression that they were authentic so how are you gonna take me to court because you made a mistake never made sure they were authentic and drove down here? That's just plain stupid you'll get laughed at. There are so much other **** in this world that ppl care about then to here you go on and on how your not a liar when I told you these skirts were on the car and the pictures I had were pictures of them on my car. I had even told you in person that these were on my car. You didn't care. Where I was wrong was not being truthful about them being authentic but I had no clue they weren't authentic til about a month ago so. I wasn't tryna start a whole big thing I just didn't want any rx8 guys to get ripped off and I sent you a few pm's so this wouldn't happen but you ignored them. And I don't see why your complaining about it. Sell them for the $175 someone will buy them. I bought these for about $300 thinking they were real cuz the first set I had weren't and they looked and fit completely diff. So technically I didn't lie to you. And how do we know that you didn't say oh wow a banging *** deal on rmagic sideskirts unpainted! Let me buy these and then he will be off the board soon since he got a diff car and then no one will know so I'll say I'm broke and i need to sell them so I can make a profit cuz no one knows. But you never thought I would still be lurking and **** would hit the fan 1. You knew they were used and on the car (but you didn't care cuz you were gonna get them for cheap) 2. I was 100% sure these were authentic til I found out they weren't ( you also failed to check that) 3. No matter how far you drive it's not the next person who has to pay for your gas money ( I also told you I would split shipping so you wouldn't have to drive but you didn't care again).

I was truthful in everything I said. Like I said before there are a few pol willing to buy these. Dsire4u said he will buy them. Just sell them for a fair price and someone will buy. I took a $125 loss on these you don't see me wanting to sue the person I bought them from cuz they lied or they didn't know lol

You loose money on every aftermarket part you buy. You will never make more than what you paid for unless you sold it to a dumb person, or you custom fabricated something to make the part work better.

Yeah man I know I just find it crazy how he wants to sue me cuz I thought the were authentic lol. All I was doing was making sure that no one got ripped off cuz I never ripped him off. I still have parts from my rx8 that I haven't sold yet and it's been like 4 months now.

OP put them back up to sale for $175 and they will sell in a heartbeat
