I'm going to try to save you some money here. 99% of people who have power steering failure do NOT have a "burnt out" or otherwise broken "module." I hope you've searched. Because all you probably need is to clean a few specific connectors. Again, just trying to be helpful....

thanks i guess ill clean em before i get another module. only reason why im trying to get a new one is because i replaced the harness for the power steering at the dealership and it didnt fix the problem. so they told me i need a new module.

Clean them....it can't hurt. Does seem like if they changed the harness it could be the module, but still worth a try!

Clean and check all the connections and if it comes down to it i got the module ill sell you for cheap.

OK - I'm glad to hear that. If the whole harness was replaced, that does tell you a lot. But the connections themselves still tend to be the weak link.

Make SURE that the dealership promises that they will not charge you for the module if that doesnt immediately fix the problem. I've heard of shady stuff like that before, and honestly half the dealers are just blindly following diagnostic pathways that dont always work out...

i am having the same issue. i cleaned the connectors, problem is still there. it onlys messes up when turning the wheel to the left.
