For Sale: 1 Pettit Supercharger Kit $7000 +S/H
This is still on the car. And will be removed in the next few days.

Included in the kit are,,

Pettit SC/all hardware/upgraded pulleys. she pulls 12psi
Intercooler/tank/hoses/pump
4 RC Fuel Injectors 750cc
AEM Alky injection kit
BHR Throttle Body Spacer
Cobb AccessPort. Unmarried and NO tunes.

This is going to be a complete kit ready to bolt in. I will tag and bag all parts.

 

3 quick questions Easy. 1) How many miles on the kit? 2) Were you using the Cobb AP for your tune? 3) Any clue what the HP pull was?

 

1. I would say no more than 7000 miles. And that's probably a stretch.
2. Yes.
3. It was street tuned. Not Dyno tuned. And it did not make it onto a dyno for any numbers. It's in the 275rwhp range easily, It stays next to a 272rwhp turbo 8 and so I think it's safe to say it's in that range.

 

Damn these are only going up in price it seems ... screw stocks, shoulda invested in pettit s.c!!! How much was it new?

Hmm would this be suitable for use on a S1 6 speed auto with the 6 port motor?

 

Would be great for the 6speed Auto....power would be well suited for an auto

 

Well, considering this similar setup makes 266rwhp with a 4 port AT. I think your set up for a win win situation.

Stage 1 or stage 2?

 

Noob question: How does this compare vs. say a greddy or esmeril turbo kit? I know those have better whp numbers, what's the benefit here?

 

Its a supercharger. You'll have torque from the moment you hit the gas. A turbo takes time to spool up.

Also no additional back pressure in the exhaust to kill the motor.
