I actually just spoke to our friend on the phone and he is in fact refunding people and/or sending out parts. In my case I hope to see my part by the middle of next week. Fingers are crossed but I don't think he's a scammer, I think he was overwhelmed by the response to his part out.

 

you still didnt refund his shipping though. But somehow you went from being "too poor to refund shipping" to being able to afford a few hundred dollar transmission
