FYI, a failing cat is damaging to engines and other components, and can lead to car fires, please make sure any buyer is well aware of this. You are unlikely to find one at that price, since it's $100 over what good condition cats go for, but if you do, please make sure they know.

Just wondering. Why would people buy a failing cat? Mine is failing, and I am trying to figure out what to do with it after replacing with a good one...

 

Besides emissions, which is obviously not an option for the cat I'm selling. A lot of people gut them and use them for personal preference.

 

I got 300 out of the last 2 good cats that I've sold.
