To my knowledge there is no difference in the intakes of the SI and SII models, it should work on all years and models.

my chassis currently has 23,xxx

i doubt i put it on since i first got my car so under 23k for sure. but the current filter should have less than 5k. i don't drive my rx8 a lot.

lol, doubt it. aftermarket intake systems don't really do anything to your car except make it sound different and add bling to the engine bay.

maybe if you cut a hole in your front bumper and make a little air duct to ram air thru to the intake you'll gain some kind of power but not much.

The HKS sounds great by the way, loud but in a good way. Definitely a different sound than others I have used in the past. Good luck with the sale
