It was in the dark and we were installing outside with a lamp... maybe not exactly 1 inch, but it was pretty damn close though. Come to think of it probably 1.5-2 inches, but there was like another 0.5-1 inch to go and at that point my rims were close to touching my fenders and I wasn't able to drive it. For the rear, it can go as low as the front. It was dark, so I wasn't sure exactly how much more, but I know there were more. My friend and I had to raise it back up 2 inches just so I can drive home. I also have the ings rear and sides which probably made the car closer to the ground.

check out the pics I took of them before the installation. This was preset by stance and I didnt touch anything in the rear, but I lowered the front close to 1 inch before I installed it and this resulted in my car being slammed to the ground. I installed the rears without touching the height adjustments and the rims were pretty close to touching the fender. (Note: the rear coilovers in these pics are not even preloaded yet. I tightened the perch about 0.5 afterward, so that gives it even more extra room to go lower...)

As you can see there are plenty of room to go lower...

That is just about all the way down in the rear and about .5" more in the front. Very low but not exactly the end all of rear lower-age. Hipermax have a bit more adjustability, lol like its really needed. I agree though, Stance coilovers are Legit! 8)

Anyways, Free bump? Sorry for the trash imput!

if you lower it more that the a arms parallel to the ground handling goes to ****.

there is a reason mazdaspeed and racing beat do what they do. my bet would be anything more than 1.2 in the front and 1 in the back starts the downward trend.

just putting that out for info..

beers

wtf is up with the missing e?

mput234 ?

and the answer to you question. why get rid of something that works to get something that will go lower if you are not going to use it?

i am not pro or con on the coilovers you have. just wondering where you are trying to go.

as i am just a humble guy on springs and shocks..

as to rca on a 8. not sure what you are talking about. but i recall you know my pm.

i find stuff sometimes!

bump,

I've been getting a lot of interested to buy the coil overs outright. I'll set the price at $1250.00 SHIPPED OBO , if you guys pm me about a trade or to buy, please reply back, if your not interested anymore let me know.

Some weird questions I got that I'm gonna answer.

One guy thought the coil over had 25K miles, it doesn't its around 5K.

Since I'm back home, I took a quick snap

this is the lowest the rears go to, without removing the middle spanner nut. No more room in the coils to lower the preload, or to increase the thread.

and before anyone says it, no its not a fucked up pull job. My mom hit my 1/4 panel backing her car out, that's why its dented there.

haha, That's my car!

Anyways I'll add a little imput for this. The fronts can go a LOT lower, there's at least a good 1" - 1 1/2" in the front, and a good 3/4" on the rear. Also, I have the longer springs in the rear on the Stance, you can get shorter springs to go lower if you wanted to. The pic following that one (in my thread) of the coilovers in the rear of the car didn't have any preload on it at all and the spring was free to rattle around in between the perches.

Anyways, free bump for ya.
