KY FS/FT: Tein FLEX coilover

I'm wanting to trade my flex with another coilover, or sell them outright.
I love almost everything about the flex except for the fact it doesn't let me go as low as I want.
The coilovers have about ~5K miles. Work beautifully, nothing wrong.
I think most vendors here sell the coilover new for around 1.5K.
The spring rates are (9K/7K).
I'm looking for coilover that will go a lot lower, with agressive spring rates. No junk. Either straight trade or +/- $$$.
I'm also willing to sell outright, but you'll have to wait till I get the new suspension.

SOLD

PM me if you are interested or have any questions.

some pics:

EDIT: UPDATE PICS

It's at the lowest setting in the rear, front's can literally be dropped to the ground.

You should post a price for those who may want to buy it outright.

Yup, it is. Unfortunatly, I don't have any closeup good pics of the rear.

Another pic:

Trade for hks hipermax?

Is what's stopping the rear from dropping damper clearance or out of threads?...

My springs are extremely low, but they aren't coilovers. :/

I'll post some more in here to keep this bumped up (and in case anyone else would like to know).

If you were to remove the spring there is more space for the shock body to go down? I was looking at the pictures and realized the rear has a defined lowest point because the damper sits inside the mounting point (other designs vary). Any more space to move it down?

I'm still debating twin tube vs monotube and the HKS have served me well to this day.

That drop is not bad, but if you want crazy drop get stance. you can drop it all the way to the floor.

Bump for nice coilovers

The bottom part cant go any lower, doesnt have room for the threads. I mean I'm lower than 90+% cars on this forum even at the bottom settings, so it is low, just not low enough.

that is actually what I kinda want. Topgear8, and zeals have had great experience tracking with stance. If anyone want to trade STANCE, hit me up!

I called TEIN about this, they said it would not affect anything. Some people tell me it would, but idk. I'll trust TEIN.

I'm not so certain stance will drop as low as you want, try searching for pictures. A member posted install pics with the rear as low as can go, just don't remember who...

Damn, theres no more room to move the shock body down inside the cup. How much preload/compressed are the springs at this point?

none! ride height and preload are independed. At a point, I had like some, but it was actually higher with it. weird.

Preload raises the car up, I was asking for other reasons. To lower a car, you can drop the spring perch (think about it, lowering what the car really rests its weight on). So there is no preload with the coils at the lowest setting?

Removing the bottom nut won't make a difference, since the threads can't go inside the bottom, no more room down there. But yeah, right now it's at the lowest setting with 0 preload.

I think this conversation got a bit confused. Removing the bottom nut?

Damn, I was hoping there was be some compression when all the way down

the only way i think it will affect it is when you go over a very big bump, and your car is jump to a point that the car is no longer compressing the springs. but it is very rare........never happened to me! only happens when i go up driveways!

i think he means removing the bottom ring, so you'll get another 3mm maybe!

This is getting mad confusing! lol

Yup thats what I mean, the coilover is at the lowest setting, the springs still compress, and do their job. Removing the ring won't do anything. The dampner threads are all the way inside the bottom part. Meaning even if you get more threads freed up, it won't go down anymore.

They will literally drop your car almost all the way to the floor if you really want. There was one point where my car was 1 inch off the ground with the stock lip and still had plenty of room on the shock to adjust it even lower.
