GI: Full Turbo kit
Hey guys, I will be starting my master's in August and I think I might need a little more money so I am planning on selling my kit.
I currently have a greddy kit with the MM upgrade. I would like to sell it all together meaning turbo kit with AEM CAI adapted to it, upgraded clamps and hoses, gauge pod with AEM wideband, Prosport Boost Gauge, Prosport Water Temp Gauge (all with corresponding wiring and sensors), Greddy Boost ProfecII Electronic Boost Controller.
Edit: this also includes 2 720cc injectors
Everything is in perfect working order and the GT3071R only hasl ike 5k miles on it without abuse since ive been tuning still.
Only thing I am not including is the AP since I want to keep that.
I am thiking of asking $4,000 for the kit.
Let me know if any of you is interested in the kit.
Thanks!

Yeah I know it is. I did it because I need the money and I really dont feel like I have wasted any money at all since I have learned a lot. Plus I dont expect people to pay full price for used hardware.

Alien, it really sucks you are going to get rid of the kit. You have basically the same setup I'm working towards, but I totally understand your reasons. Best of luck for the sale. Bump for a great kit and great guy.

You guys are making me blush haha
Yeah and its sad that now I almost have it setup the way I want. I only have one more thing to check and its a misfire I'm getting with the BHR ignition. But other than that the kit runs great. I just think that getting my master's is more important. I will still enjoy the hell out of the car in N/A form :D

I really want to just sell it in a bundle so whoever buys it has the full kit and only needs an AP or whatever tuning software or hardware they want. If I do have to sell it and it doesnt then I might think about parting it out.

Sorry to say this Alien but I really get sick of seeing people buy these kits only to take them off in short order . You have a good reason for selling but I have to ask about your decision to buy it in the first place . I think too many peolpe get a hard on at the thought of more power without thinking about the financial ramifications .
FI is a big money pit . Don't play if you can't pay ...
End rant .
Anyway - Good luck with the sale .

I agree with you completely. I did not think it through well enough when I spent the money. And that is a learning experience for me. I did not take into consideration everything that had to go into this. But still I dont regret it one bit. I have enjoyed the whole process even if I had frustrations on the way because I learned a lot about my car and enjoyed doing stuff on my own. Maybe if I had thought it through a little more I would have kept it N/A but I would have never had the experience I now have and to me that is not a waste at all. If I wasnt going to do my master's belive me I would keep it without thinking twice about it. It is no longer a money pit for me since everything it needs it already has.

amen to that!!! i still need to get some things.. i think my kit i got it for has already risen well above 5K... this is without install and tune.. i think a good 8-10 K for a solid kit install.. plus another 2-4 K just in case you break something.

yah people wont be able to get the MM upgrade anymore. Great oppurtunity for complete kit for cheap. I'm finishing my bachelors this year and plan on transferring to ASU for Masters. I totally get your situation. You can always do this again! Good luck man

Hell, I'm nearly where I want to be with my kit, and I have to keep re-evaluating my life and finances before I take each new step to see if it makes sense. I'm at a good place in my life to pursue my goal of totally transforming a car from stock. Like alien, even if I ever have to revert to stock I wouldn't regret the time spent learning. I'm very fortunate to be where I am in my life and have the disposable income to play with toys like this, and I don't take that for granted. I think alien has his priorities straight, so as long as he got knowledge and fun out of the FI build its a positive thing.
Anyway, free bump... someone needs to step up to the plate and join the Overlords. Also, someone should found a "Former Overlord" group for those who gave up FI.

if you put this up for sale, I don't expect it to be on the market for long.
