Selling 4 Dunlop Winter Sport M3's mounted on 18" OEM RX-8 Wheels with TPMS included. Tires used 2-1/2 winters and look barely worn with 7 to 9/32" tread left. Wheels are in excellent, almost new, shape with just a little sign of wear. These tires made the RX-8 a great winter car, but I sold the car in the middle of last winter so I don't need these any more. Cost new $2000, selling for $1000.

could u add a pic showing how much tread left? slip a coin in the tread?

 

refugeefrompistons - I added a photo showing tread depth guage. It's how I measured the 7-9/32 in my original post. This picture shows 8/32. New tires have 10/32. Tire wear indicator bars inside the tread are at 3 or 4/32 I think.

 

Can you post a few closeups of the rims? Any curb rash?

This seems like a good deal if there's no curb rash. Will you ship? Do you have a preferred method?

 

Posted some close-ups for KimiFelipe. One wheel has very slight curb rash. Each one has one or two very small chips in the coating. Overall they're in excellent shape, but are not new.

you may want to lower your price. going rate for these used snow tires goes for around $300 on this forum, and rims in perfect condition go for around $400.

$1000 might be hard to get.

 

I love how peeps constantly post in these threads that the price is too high. If this guy was asking $10 some jerk-off would post that he's sure they're not worth more than $5.

KimiFelipe - they were always $1000, but I will include shipping, but not any special packaging. If you want them shipped with just cardboard circles over the wheels, I will include it. If you want them boxed, add $100. I think they'd be safer boxed, but it's your call.

Mugatu - I just saw a set of these wheels go on eBay for $550 without the TPMS. Been thinking of breaking everything down and selling on eBay. These tires new sell for $177 each on TireRack without shipping - so $350 for the set is less than half price for a set that's got way more than half life left. TPMS go for around $100on this site. All together that's $1000. That's why $1000 seems to make sense and seems fair to me. I'm not going to give them away.

 

$1000 shipped is fair - I just thought I had seen something else - my bad.
