For sale Stock exhaust with Aero turbine resonator added $25 obo. If you are interested in just the rosonator I can cut it out and ship it for $30. The resonator has a 2.5" straight through core and 4" OD and 9.5" case. Case is polished stainless steel, and packing is special ceramic material that can withstand the high heat of the rotary engine. PM me if you are interested.

The stock exhaust was too loud for me. It actually hurt my ears to drive the car. This exhaust may be good for someone who deleted the cat and wanted to quiet things down a little bit, or the resonator could be cut out and used to replace the cat.

I traded in the RX8 for a Pontiac G8 GT. The G8 is a very different car from the RX8. It is quiet - no more problems with my ears - fast, comfortable, and handles well for a large sedan.

I think you might need to get your hearing checked out, overly sensitive.

 

he did get his hearing checked out. it wasnt too loud, it was just a pitch or frequency that didnt match up well with his ears. no need to be a dick
