I have personally bought 3 sets of Tein S. Techs from said eBay seller selling it in the $175 range and all 3 were proven authentic.

MSRP is what you are asking for.

The difference is I've dealt with him before, and telling you to keep your bullshit out of here because he's a good guy and you're just wasting your time. Go back to searching ebay for a mad tyte JdM deal son.

do those side skirts require you to have another side skirt piece as well? The pic displayed makes it look like its a 2 piece skirt.

You are the one who's wasting your time. Even if you were to buy those springs for $500.00 people would still think you wasted your money. If you dealt with him before - great, post it in the feedback forum. No need to defend his prices for him. Make your own thread, put the springs for $500.00, say they are hand made and then defend your prices.
I highly doubt BluMonstrRX8 is 10 years old and needs your help coming to this thread all the time.

From what I know of these pieces they are two separate pieces totally optional IMO.

The carbon fiber piece is meant to be used as a side splitter/accent piece to your body aerodynamics.

I got my S Techs from Ebay for $150 shipped... brand new. Authentic. Even called Tein to cross check the serial. Endless Rotaries sells them brand new for $170. Need I go on?

Mods should make a limit or something on prices. I can even go to http://www.thmotorsports.com/ and pick them up for $198. Come on now. :/
