Would like to get rid of the 04 rx8 homelink mirror I just bought from a used parts dealer, which I found out is "not" compatible with my garage door opener (found out "after" installing), "unless" I buy a homelink conversion kit to get the frequency right, which isn't worth getting just for the extra coolness of the integrated homelink mirror....

Mirror didnt come with the wire harness (since its integrated with all the wires in the roof), so I used a usb motherboard adaptor which fits perfectly to the pins, also my 8 is a base without homelink but its a snug fit onto the base mirror braket with some reversable tweaking found on a diy on this forum.
I didn't bother to wire the auto dimm but you can find the wire diagram here too.


condition is fair, with a scuff mark on the plastic, theres a metal anchor piece you really dont need which seems to have been yanked out of the windshield. mirror itself is nice and clear.

I will throw in those "homemade" wires and plastic piece for anyone with the base model.

BTW, make sure your garage door or whatever is homelink compatible!
