FS: RP Supercat - CA
I got a RP Supercat for sale. It's been in my garage for several months now, but I finally got a chance to take pictures of it. Has about 8,000 miles on it. I had it on my car for about a couple thousand miles at the most, then took it off as it was too loud for me (it was paired with a Greddy sp2 catback).
I'm including the 3 screws and bolts that I used on the flange that connects to the down pipe. As for the other end of the cat that connects to the exhaust, you can use the car's current spring screws.
I'm located in Southern California, in LA County.
EDIT: PRICE DROP! $150!

According to RP's website, it should give a decent amount of hp gain. Theres a dyno chart that shows an additional 9 hp. The cat was paired with the Greddy sp2 catback in both scenarios. Here is a link to the dyno chart: http://www.rx7.com/store/rx8/images/...at_factory.jpg

Hey man I'm VERY interested, but I'm just kinda curious about the pricing.
Here, here, and here are three places with the same thing for sale for $100, $130, and $100.
I don't want to be a 'thread-crapper', but it just seems really high to me to be asking $250 + shipping.
However, I still am interested, but I just don't feel comfortable paying that much...

If you look at each one of those threads, you will see that they are either dead or gutted out. I am selling a RP Supercat with about 8,000 miles that is not dead, nor gutted.
If you wish to purchase a cat that is dead or gutted out, then go with the other guys.
On the other hand, if you are interested, send me a price and we'll see what happens with local pick ups.

It didn't turn on while I had it installed, but it's possible to get a CEL, even though RP says it shouldn't. I've read that for the ones that do give a CEL, it's not constant, and that it sporadically turns on, then off for some time. I guess it varies from rx8 to rx8.
