RX8 wheels - are they painted alloys or?

I guess my question revolves around the idea to repair the lips. With the tires removed, could I just file, sand, dremel down the curb rash? Or would they need to be JBWelded and painted again.

Sell pending if he wants to pay shipping. Just a FYI it will cost a HIGH of $280 (that was to Ohio) to be shipped via UPS. Unless we can ship to your place of work than it could come down a bit.

Want to keep these in the game if he backs out due to high shipping.

There's gotta be a cheaper way to ship those things. With the shipping cost as high 280.00, it would probably make sense for you to find a local buyer.

They are 48lbs a piece so it could get as low as 35-40 if I could ship to a business.

I would part one at a time but id rather let them all go at once. Cause knowing my luck ill get stuck with ONE wheel for a long time. And I have TPMS still in each wheel. So someone would have 3 wheels with no tpms and one with That would seem pointless.

Im going to check with fedex tomorrow but sadly thats shipping across the country.

EDIT** edit** Grayhound shipping is the same as UPS.

you might as well take the tires off if they're gone to save weight? or is it by dimensions?

rawrx8,

It's not your fault that shipping company charges arm and leg for those wheels. Have you advertised them on craigslist? Seattle is a big city, and you may get find more local buyers there.

Cost money to demount tires. If I do that im parting with the tpms alone for like 120 shipped. Than im sure I could get shipping cheaper. Maybe ill do that if someone is interested in the wheels but im adding the cost of my demounting to the price. I want to get these gone gone gone. Im willing to work.

No these havent sold, forgot to respond to this yesterday.

I would like to try to keep them together cause I know my luck ill be stuck with one wheel FOREVER. And to make it worth wild to part them out one by one I would need to demount and pull the TPMS out. Rather not go through all that added work. I put them up on craigslist to see if someone locally bites but who knows.

remorseless im in seattle. Send me a pm if your interested.
