strut tower still available??
hi there, since it says OEM, does that mean it came with the RX8 in the later years. my 2004 rx8 doesnt come with a stock front strut bar but do you know if it will fit. if it does and still available, i would be willing to pay $20 for it. how much is shipping and if you ship by fedex or ups, can i provide you with my own personal account, so that u dont have to pay anything for it.

cmonk518: PM'd
strut tower bar is still available as funds from the other buyer have not posted as of this posting. If they do not post within the next half-hour, cmonk518 has dibs.

Haven't heard back from cmonk518, so the strut tower bar is still available, unless I hear back from him before the end of today.

Okay- I haven't heard back from cmonk518, so the OEM strut tower bar is available
No, but I've gotten quite a few PM's about it since posting a pic of the fenders in my sig.
I'll be happy to briefly explain my lighting:
The fenders have a blue cold cathode ray tube in each fender, suspended & secured by 2-part foam ends for position and protection, wired through the factory looming, and switched on remotely via a hidden switch in the upper part of the coin tray.
I also have remote switched lighting in engine compartment, hidden underneath the MS strut bar, that also lights up the modified engine cover. My fogs have been relocated behind diamond mesh grills, with the rotary accent slightly relocated forward of the it's OEM location and back-lit. The headlamp assembly has the secondary lamps changed out with blue LED's, the tail lights have matching blue LED's hidden along with the standard legal lighting. Trunk and footwells lit with blue LED's, and the under sides have matching LED's. The rear lower valance has 3/16" holes drilled centered in each diamond pattern with hidden red LED's positioned behind, wired to the rear brake lights. The front headlight assembly is halo-lit with hidden white LED's.
Everything is switchable and hidden for a factory appearance when not lit.
My next lighting project is to either custom light my strakes, by making liquid ice (acrylic) molds of the chrome strakes, mist them with a light coat of GG metallic flake, and back light them with amber LED's for either turn signals or running lights - or I may just crack open my headlamp assembly and add corner positioned amber LEDs - either way, I plan on color mathing my corners to galaxy grey and relocate the amber lighting elsewhere.
I've paused on the lighting upgrades recently so that I can concentrate on the suspension and powertrain. I have 2 complete swappable audio systems; one for show(2075SE/2 ARC 10's/ARC6000/Glassed/Painted/Airbrushed) and one for lightweight everyday driving(1 ARC10/KS125.2/Glassed in rotor shaped enclosure) with one more being built for SPL comp. (ARC4000SE/2 Flatlines/Kinetik3800). Next on the list is pulleys, Cobb access port, and turbo. I'll post up pics in my profile when I get some time to do that.
