FS: NEW XCarLink USB / BT / Phone
Hi All! I have a brand-new, never installed, never opened XCarLink USB/SD card/BT/BT hands-free (full, rare cable included for the BT module) for sale, as my RX-8 has a rare Mazda iPod jack instead of the CD, making this solution non-ideal for me.
I'm asking $145+s/h (actual, based on carrier and speed). Make an offer!

I'd like to know as well.
this site, http://www.xcarlink.com/ , does not state any firmware restrictions, while other sites, http://www.therpmstore.com/product_i...roducts_id=141 , show a need for firmware greater than 9.55
so what's the answer?

My apologies for the late response, but I've been on an international exercise with the U.S. Army for the past month. Ugh.
To answer your question, I'm afraid it is firmware dependent, as it uses the same SW headers that all the other systems (GROM, etc.) do. You need to have 9.55 or higher, but less than 9.81 (crazy eh?). Thanks.
