FS/FT: JIC-Magic Full Ti Catback

Alright, rather than bump the thread from eons ago, I decided to create a new one, to help clarify. The exhaust developed a crack where the connector meets the muffler. The catback was taken to JIC-Magic US headquarters and repaired. As you can see, the work is top notch with very very beefy welds. Remember, titanium is neither easy, nor cheap to have repaired. They also opened up the cannister from the side to make sure everything was good inside and to help reinforce. Will come with hardware + nearly new gaskets. The exhaust is 2.6" so it would be best for N/A car. I initially thought it was 3" because thats what their website says but measured when off and found out it was 2.6"

The exhaust has no dings or dents and is in amazing condition for being used! There is one blemish on one of the tips that happened when transporting it to JIC. It must have sat rubbing against something, I'm not sure. Doesn't effect anything though!

Reason for sale - I don't want to risk damaging such a great piece due to my ride height. I'd prefer something cheaper for the time being...

Look, no scrapes dents or dings!

Blemish in burn. The rest of the tip is dirty with nothing wrong -

Asking price is $900 obo. Original MSRP is something like $2300...

I'm open to trade for other parts or catback + cash, preferably the HKS Hi Power/RB Race Exhaust but show me what you've got

wow very nice exhaust, why do you have to be so far away T 0 T). All the good stuff seems to be on the other side of the country.

Did it cost anything to have JIC redo that weld?

J - If you've got a purchase receipt they will repair or potentially order you an entirely new system if you've got issues, or so I was lead to believe.

Mike, I wish I could but deng, that thing is too heavy for my tastes!

HKS is pretty close, next best thing being RB Race. Isn't the Rev8 heavier than the oem exhaust by a few pounds???

I weighed the muffler of mine when I got it. It is at least half the weight of the entire catback and was only 9 lbs. https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...7&d=1192142281

Exoticspeed and JIC Full Titanium aren't even in the same league! Maybe you thought this was the exoticspeed exhaust?...

I too wish there was a full Ti single exit. C'mon JIC get it together!!!

I wish there was a JIC dual exit/dual muffler higher flow design. Wait that would cost like $6k. I'll stick with what I have lol.

The longer this thread stays up, the more I want to delete it. I love the sound so much, I should really just pony up the cash to buy another catback and keep this one for later! hahaha...

Only problem tilt is are you really going to get a chance to put it on later. Your setup just gets more and more aggressive and I wouldnt risk a Ti exhaust getting all screwed up.

I don't know if I'd say its getting progressively more aggressive but more-so just changing. There will be a time when I raise my car a couple inches and wouldn't mind running this setup. Then again, having two exhausts makes it more of a practicality issue, lol.

To clarify - Yes, the exhaust is still up for sale
