FS - Esmeril Turbo Kit + Aftermarket Parts
Hey guys.. so I tried passively selling my car "as is" on this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8s-sale-wanted-43/gi-2004-brilliant-black-rx-8-6psd-159416/ but it was difficult especially with the economy and I guess it didn't help trying to sell a turbo rx8 in northern nj during winter lol
So... as stated on my car sale post, I'm looking to get engaged and move forward with my life (Plan on buying a lexus is 250 AWD lol) and just trade in my rx8 as stock as possible.
I would rather not ship most of my parts due to some past time headaches and actually... I need stock parts in return for the parts I'm selling. With spring now here, we can set up a time to swap for the bolt ons. For the more complicated parts, we can go to my guy who I trust with very fair prices or we can go someone you know or... if you know what you're doing, we can go to work.
Before we go to the prices, I've been to numerous rx8 and other car meets. Given many people rides and test drives, many people who I'm sure would vouch for me =)
Esmeril Turbo Kit + Interceptor X (tuned for 300whp @ 10psi with cable and dongle) + BHR Radiator (just installed 2 months ago) + BHR Coils & Plugs (just installed them 2 weeks ago) + Greddy profec B boost controller + Oil Catch Can = $4,250 ** In return I would need your stock intake, stock radiator, and stock coils and plugs!
***I would recommend getting the updated wastegate, get it recirculated, or just have it welded somewhere else. Went in for an oil change where they have a pit and the dude lightly hit my wastegate pin to this yellow sliding gate bar on the ground bending it slightly back but no damage to the wastegate itself and no vacuum problems at all. Due to the low wastegate.. I never got to install my S tech springs =*(
**** I have matching prosport gauges but I will not sell them since if I took them off... I'd have a huge box hole on my center console... but brand new ones are cheap and look/work great.
***** Lastly regaurding the turbo kit, I do not want to part them out unless you already the radiator and/or coil upgrades.
Tein S-Tech springs (brand spanking new): $120 - Sold
Greddy sp2 catback exhaust: $275 (for your stock exhaust)
Rp Midpipe: $175 (for your working stock cat)
BB side flares: $100
ASA JH8 black rims (has some curb damage) + > 90% treads on Bridgestone RE960AS all season tires(wider tires 245 in rear): $900 (no TPS)
I do have agency power pullies and strakes but they're really not worth me selling separately... if one of the buyers really want them, you can take them off and it's yours for like $50 for each. (I'd need your stock pulleys and belts)
I think that's about it... unless someone wants to swap bumpers with me (BB color only)
Ok thanks for your time guys.

how much is this stuff worth: a stock intake, stock radiator, and stock coils and plugs. i ask because i am sort of interested in getting this esmeril kit, but a new one is 5.5k shipped. you're wanting 4.5 plus shipping plus all that oem stuff. i'm curious as to how that would work out.

imo, stock intake ~$50
stock radiator, i'd look up what the price is, and go from there. buy anywhere from $50-100 probably
coils: $26 each new, $10 used? $40
plugs: $20 each new, $10 used? $40
~$230? that sounds about right for me.
what i would do, is look at pics of the kit and see if the price suits you.

BUMP for a good deal... this should allow someone to get the kit at a good deal (and even replace the turbo if they please) and still come out with a great bargain.
If I had money...
EDIT -- Get the engine bay all nice and clean, grab your best camera and throw some money shots in this thread!

This is an excellent deal -- essentially $2250 for the esmeril kit if you are buying those extras yourself.

I would understand if someone wants the INT-x or boost controller or radiator separate but please do not ask if i'd send you a downpipe =) That'd make my life harder to sell this kit w/out some pipes lol.
As for the coils... i will try to sell it as a package first. If i can't sell it by mid april, then i'll sell the radiator and coils separately. Thanks for the interests guys

Thanks flyboi for the great buy.
I saw his ride last night and it looked very clean and done up nicely, someone should jump on his ride quick. It was nice meeting you, and good luck with the sale.
