Got my dice integration kit and found out I had ordered the wrong version, so I can't use it in my car. I have the bose sound system in my car so you need the SAT button for the kit to work...

I bought it for the price of 169 $ or something, so selling it for around 140 or so... the kit is only mounted and dismounted in my car, and I will send it in the original package with the user manual and everything

What is the model o the proper Dice Mod that you needed.. I am thinking of odering this unit but after reading your post and having the Bose Pkg myself... I don't want to run into the same problem.. Can you help me out?

 

I have the I-Mazda R2.... and the one you want is the R1....

I used my Dice R2 in my car with no problems at all.. and I had the Bose system.

If you have a SAT button you should be fine...

First ... I need the I-Mazda R1 - if i have a Bose sound pkg??
Second... How would I know if i have a SAT button or not
Third.... Whys did alz0rz say his worked just fine but is contrary to what preludah was stating when he ran into problems.

Yep.. I have a 05 with a Bose package and it worked fine. The only thing that never got to working correctly was the text with the R2 but that is completely because I never tried. The function works just the same. Having the Bose package makes no difference. You need to have a SAT button to determine if you have the the free input on the back of the radio to plug in the Dice R2.

Check your radio.. next to FM/AM, CD, etc.. should be a button that says SAT.

 

Ok !!! I do not have a sat button... I have a button that says : mini disc/aux

So i guess i'm out of luck!!!

 

i have a 2007 RX8 with a Bose 6 cd changer, but it also has a SAT button on it, so I am assuming I can use the R2 version, which is better b/c it displays the Artist Info, ect.
