I have a new-in-box Garmin StreetPilot c550.

me and a friend both got 2 together but i ended up opening mine yet keeping both. he never came to get it from me and long story short, its still here. it actually hasnt even been opened but i cant return it since the receipt is with him.

this unit is awsome. its got Bluetooth capability and it tells you the traffic condition too. the box contains:
-Garmin c550
-Traffic receiver/vehicle power cable with 3 months FREE trial subscription (this wire is about 200 bux if bought separately from a store)
-Suction cup mount
-Dashboard Disk
-USB Interface Cable
-Carry Case (very useful)
-Owner's manual

We got it for about $600 each from Circuit City about a month ago.

Talk about a day late and a dollar short. Where was this deal yesterday? lol I went out last night and bought the Garmin Nuvi 200 from Circuit City. Had I waited another day I would have definitely bought this. I realize this reply isn't helping but I wanted to vent my new-found frustration. Good luck with the sale.

 

haha thanks anyway. u dont have receipt either??? return it. if im not mistaken, the nuvi 200 lacks many features that the c550 has. anyway, hope you like it.

 

You can get this from TigerGPS.com (same exact box) for 369.99 with free shipping anywhere in the continental U.S. I would ask your friend to send you the receipt, it's the only way you'll recover all or most of your money.

 

we kinda had some issues between one another. well this one is not refurbished, its brand new. many of the ones on those sites are refurbished.

Yeah, have the receipt, but Circuit City charges a 15% restocking fee to toss it back in the glass case. It would be like renting it for $45 if I returned it. The c550 is one of the best ones that they carry and I think $400 is a pretty good deal. Oh well, too late for me. Hope you find a buyer.

wt is the width of the GPS? i would like to buy a larger one for the 8..small one seems silly in the 8 as my opinion.. thanks for detail

 

the width of the whole unit is 4.4 inches.

I actually wanted a wider screen unit @ first but im glad i got this one. since its not too wide, it doesnt take up much room on ur windshield. the good thing about garmin units is that they are always straight to the point with their menu options so using it is a piece if cake.
