It is for the sunroof model. Also, it is two pieces. I asked Andy and he said it was for easier installation if it comes in two pieces. Installation instructions are included as well.

Any chance of you getting this overlay exchanged for a single piece? If you can swap to a single piece I'd be more inclined to buy.

 

Eh, no, sorry. No chance. I asked Andy for the one-piece as well and he says he doesn't make them because the two-piece is much easier to install.

So I'm not sure why'd you'd want the one-piece anyways after what Andy's said, but I guess you can email him and ask him for a specially made one...the price might go up but if that's what you want...

You don't go anywhere...you send Andy an email at bluebatmobile@san.rr.com and he will answer you in a couple days...just inquire for the black vinyl roof overlay for the rx8 and he will give you a price quote.

The page I have hyperlinked is just a page where you can see how it looks on the 8.

 

Thats unfortunate it is a two piece.... there will be a seem somewhere on the roof.... I just wrapped my roof in a single digital print, with no seems it looks just like paint... Definately try to get this guy andy to get one complete piece, it looks so much better!

No, you would use carbon fiber on the roof to match the hood and trunk, not black. This stuff here...
