does ipod unit connect to factory head unit? does it charge newer ipods? can u still use factory controls?

 

Yes it will conect to the XM(satelite) Radio input in the back of the Stock radio, I was using t with a iPod Classic(80Gb) n yes it did charge n u still can use the factory controls, (I dont think that will charge a iPhone)

It says "I-MAZDA-R2/5V" on the back of the module. I didn't know there is 2 different ones
