CA F/S racingbeat rx8 header new in box!

i have a new racingbeat rx8 header new in the box that i finally recieved . it was on back order when i bought it and i believe they still are on backorder. the reason im selling is i bought a turbo kit and will not need the header

$550.00 shipped

its still sealed in the box but if you want pics i can open it and take some pics

taken from the racingbeat website

"After many months of engine dyno testing, production refinements, and a couple of supplier turnovers, we’ve finally released our RX-8 header! Well, almost.

We recently released an initial batch of our headers to a limited number of pre-order customers and dealers and are currently awaiting the next batch from our supplier. The initial “soft release” of these headers allowed us to receive feedback regarding fitment, installation, etc… so that we could make changes prior to the official release. We're expecting another shipment within the next few weeks, place your order now and we'll give you a call when the headers arrive. We will NOT bill your credit card until after we contact you once the headers are in stock. Get your name on the list, the first batch went in a hurry!"

RX-8 Header 2004-09

Part Number: 16133

They actually have like 20 something of them in stock, but it's like 15 lbs or so I hear, so it may cost some money to ship. $550 may be a good deal

RB is asking $495 for it. Last time I shipped headers from them it was only $47 so thats less than what you're asking.

Dont get me wrong... I know they're on backorder and I think thats a good price for somebody who wants one now, but its not a "great" price since its technically second hand...

Good luck on the sale...

Hate to tell you but you need to be open to the idea of loosing some money on your purchase. Selling them is just a way of getting back a portion of the lost funds.

This is how it usualy works.

Used items go for 25-75 % of the current market value depending on condition and how desirable an item is. If the item is in good condition, is no longer avaialble and is desirable then you get near the 75%, almost never more.

If a used item is in poor condition but still useable and is still readily available you will get near 25%.

New items go for 75-95% of best price anyone can find. Desirable items near the 95%, easy to find and buy items go for the 75%. You will almost never get all your money back unless you get a scremming deal in the first place or someone buys it from you without researching.

Shipping and tax: Just plan on loosing your shipping and tax money. Its better to sale an item for a price and then charge actual shipping on top of that. Its more fair and you end up with the same amount of money no matter who buys it. Good to post size and weight so people can look up the actual shipping cost on there own. Many people will question your shipping cost and want to verify it for themselves.

Hope that helps explain why you have not sold it and why you are not getting offers.

I suggest you sale it for $475 plus actual shipping cost and paypal fees 2.5% I believe, $5 for e-check. Point out that anyone in california will save extra because they wont pay TAX.
