I love this exhaust and everything about it. Unfortunately my girlfriend hates it and I sort of need the money to finish school.... I would like to sell both together but I have no problem selling separate. Anyone that wants both will get priority though.
I installed the midpipe first and it added a really deep tone and fire! It has a single resonator.
Later I got the HKS and it made all the difference in the world. Every time I let off the gas it backfires (doesn't shoot fire unless you drop the throttle at about 7 or 8 thousand RPM's though). Idle sounds amazing! Some exhausts I've heard are quiet until you provoke it and some are raspy and irritating, not this set-up. IMHO it sounds good through out the entire RPM range.
I did have a few leaks to deal with, however, they were not because of the system, they were because I did not have a lift and I ended up destroying the original hardware. That being said, I can help whomever buys it install it perfectly the first time.
The system is discolored because I bought both parts used from members here on rx8club, so I do not know the miles on them.
All parts are off the car and ready to ship today! I just have to go get a box or boxes for them. I am actually going to do that now after I upload these pics.

Nope, the tip was crunched but I fixed it and painted it flat black. There are virtually no dents and the chrome is perfct on the muffler.

Yes, the tip was crunched and discolored. It could be re-sanded and painted something else easily.

I have the exact same setup on my car and I can tell you it's the loudest best sounding thing out there, I get flames almost every shift. Bump for an excellent exhaust system

Thanks Rev and sr101. Sr, do you have a sound clip? I never had all the right hardware I needed and there was always a small leak or two. I was dying to know if the system, installed correctly would sound quieter and better.... Just a thought.
