Hello all!

These parts come from a 2004. They were on an engine that was removed to install a race engine back 2003. The engine is now destined to be used in an aircraft. It had less than 100 miles when removed. With the exception of the starter and the speedo consol, all of these parts are therefore in nearly new condition.

I don't know what mileage is stored in the speedo consol, probably pretty low. The original intent was to install the engine into an early rx7. Most of the necessary electrical components to complete the swap are included in this group of parts.

All parts from a 6 port, except the starter.
Here's what is available:

Wiring harness's from battery connectors to the dash.
This includes 3 harness sections, engine, starter circuit, dash related connectors, all of which combine to make it run.
Next is intake manifold system, including drive by wire pedal and throttle body.

Prices for each:

Starter for auto trans $40

Alternator, still looks new. $55

Coils included in harness

Speedo cluster included with harness.

Oil metering pump, these retail at $1500 for the pump alone, and about $1100 at the discount shops. You will also get the tubes and injectors with this sale, normally, an additional $300; all for $500.

Clutch and flywheel, no noticeable wear, only discoloration from being bolted together so long in one position. $100

The harness and manifold stuff, w ecu: $200

how often does the alternator go bad? i have 93,000 miles on my rx8...the old car i had before that, the alternator went bad around the 100k mark

I'll check if it will fit in a flat rate box in the morning, then get back to you with a shipping price. Probably going to be about $22 +- a few bucks.

I know, it's confusing because there is an automatic trans starter.
All the other parts are from a 6 port.

May your RX never wear out and your tires never go flat
Many alternators last to 150,000+ But lasting up to 100k is doin pretty good.

I don't know, it is probably the standard unit.

Turns out the upgraded starter is only for the manual 04s.. And I need a new starter, as I am having some problems. pm please
