I have a cell phone mount for the RX8... Should fit all years.. Used it for a while but then I got rid of my smartphone and went back to a flip style. It fits great and I put some velcro padding at the end so that it would be an even more snug fit and not scratch any of the console face... Looks great.. All you'll need is a clip mount from Proclip.
$25 + $5 shipping.

It mounts and wedges inbetween the dash and the dash side to the right of the climate controls if I remember correctly.. The bottom part hinges on the lower right side of the dash and keep it in place.. I added some soft 3m velco so that it would be a super snug fit and to make sure not plastic would rub if there was a passenger resting a knee on it or nearby.
