Hello Everyone, after much soul searching I decided that 30K a year was killing my 07 RX-8 and after spending almost $3,000 in maintenance plus getting a new engine, that I would trade in my 8. Now with a car gone I have few things you may be interested in. I purchased a few things on this forum, but I've also got feedback on ebay (prisonerofcs).


First, I have a the BHR ignition kit. I purchased it in late February this year, a removed it from the car before they did the engine swap in May. I sent the kit back to Charles at BHR to make sure that the coils were still good. At the time I planned on putting them back on the car, but chose not to. He checked out the coils and put new connectors on the wires. I have a set of plugs I can include, but I'm giving them away (they are not considered part of the price) for best performance use new plugs.

Price $400 obo

Second, I swapped my fuel pump hoping that would solve my stalling problem, it was the engine, not the pump. So I have the pump and assembly up for $60 obo.

Third, I have my car bra, its about a year old and has claimed many love bugs, $40 obo. I do have extra rivet head screws for the wheel wells. The vinyl is in great shape, but I lost a couple of the elastic clips under the bumper. It stayed on just fine at 130mph

Also for clarification, the pump is a OEM not a walbro and it was the original on my car. When I swapped the pump, my engine still died, and I didn't feel like doing that job again.

Also word of advice to anyone who is going to do the job... do it with an empty tank!

Just recieved payment for the fuel pump, it will be in the mail tomorrow.

Both Fuel Pump and BHR kit are sold.

I've decided to take the car bra off the market. It stormed like hell this weekend and the carbra got blown around the yard. There is soo much debris in the cotton backing, I don't think it will every be clean, and putting it on a car would just be like sandpaper.

If anyone ever has need of the fasteners, I got a bunch and will happily drop some in the mail for you. Thanks for everything!!
