i have been considering a midpipe and am wondering how it sounds on the car? and will it bolt on with the stock exhaust? i am near houston and could meet somewhere near you to pick it up if i decide to get it.

 

For $100 just get it. That was $400 or more new (if you got it)

 

i am considering either this one or a rp midpipe, not sure which one. opinions?

 

It sounds great and it will fit with the stock cat back. I always had it on with the aftermarket exhaust. It never sounded raspy or tinging. It's a deep mild note. I never had it on with the stock exhaust though. It won't be a lot louder that the stock catpipe.

 

well thats probably a good thing, i will be installing it without telling my dad who shot down the full exhaust idea so i decided ill do the parts he wont see.

 

Difference is the resonators. RP would be much more raspy.

 

Okay. Will it pass inspection? Not really a big deal just wondering. I have an AP and can also reinstall the stock cats if I need it to be inspected.
