I need the screws that go under the rear hood seal, through the cowl grill into the cowl.




Either a Philips or JIS head (the only one I have is in rough shape). I know it's a pretty trivial thing, but I can not find this oddball little guy anywhere.

^^the 2009+ S2 “oil metering pumps” are entirely different than 2004-2008 S1 oil metering pump and not compatible at all.

Yea I was trying to find something quick and that completely skipped my mind. Thanks for looking out though. Do you know if the positioning sensor on it is the same? That is the only part I need. I just can’t seem to find it anywhere so I basically have to buy a whole pump from the looks of it.

 

no, entirely different design on 2009+ S2. You need a 2004-2008 S1 OMP with position sensor

 

by any chance is the transmission still available?

I just bought 09 R3 that's a bit of a basket case. Among other things it's been living in humid Hawaii and both front and rear sub frames (basically any steel suspension components) are badly rusty.

I don't need the wheels and tires but I might be interested in a whole mess of other undercarriage stuff If you're willing to load up a pallet and let me pay freight.

If that's too hard we can talk about individual control arms and such, but I really haven't started tearing things down yet.

Anybody grabbed suspension bits yet? This is all of course assuming that your parts are in better shape than mine... Which given winters in Wisconsin I probably shouldn't assume... Anyways, please let me know

Hey @jatmon are you still part in this thing out? Still interested in suspension goodies but it doesn't look like you've replied here in a little over a month.

1) The plastic trim bit through which the red light for the driver side door controls shines through
2) Driver side mirror
3) The plastic thing that the rear aux and 12V outlet poke through
4) Battery cover
5) Fuse box cover
6) Screws and anchor thing which hold the battery down
7) Engine cover
8) Boot trim plastic clips 6x
9) Keyless start ****
10) Rear view mirror (if auto-dimming)
11) Push button for the hand brake
12) Fan blower motor assembly
13) Glovebox damper and damper anchor
14) Vinyl trim on the roof
