the car looks great, but what color is your car? is it the velocity red thats stock? cuz it looks slightly orangeish maybe its my computer or because it was taken at night in the rain? but the color looks cool even if its not the shade of orange that i see it as, and the cf looks great too but is there really that much of a difference? i mean our stock hoods weigh what 15 lbs or something like that, i mean my cousin has a AE86 and his stock hood was close to like 40-50 lbs so the 8lb cf hood made a difference but for us iono but it looks good =)

 

The hood is actually 1 pound and some change lighter than the aluminum hood. It was done for aesthetic looks only. Sometimes form doesn't always follow function when style is involved. That picture was old and yes it was taken in the rain, this is what the car looks like now:
