To make it worthwhile reading this thread, I have a funny story from yesterday.

I was on the way home and some guy pulled up next to me. I thought he was in trouble because of the worried look on his face. He yells, "hey! Your muffler is on fire!"

I replied, "Yeah, probably"

He looked a bit disgusted that I didn't care that I would be dying in the next few minutes, and drove off.

So I text message my gf and tell her what happened. And said, "Funny stuff"

She replies, "No! That's horrible"

I asked why - since she knows the car spits fire...

"Because your muffler is on fire!"

"No, it's not actually on fire, it's just spitting flames. If it was on fire, I'd know about it. The gas tank is nearby"

 

"yeah probably" Now that's funny!

I wish my 8 spit fire.

 

That vid answers why every punk in a Civic picks on me. I'm to the point I turn at an intersection if I'm going to be first in line sitting next to a riced Civic.

Whats sad is the OP actually had a need to post this.

 

This is so worthless. The 8 is probably auto, plus he sat there for 3 seconds after the light was green, plus they were going along a curve in which the civic had the inside track.

And as far as the poster who said the kids in civics are "picking on you".... Follow him to wherever he's going and beat the sh*t outta him if he's revving at you and you dont like it.

 

whao! the guy in the rx-8 must be the worse driver in history.

maybe the JDM rx-8 is faster but this weekeng I tooks a JDM integra type r with some mods and my 8 is 100% stock, this was on the track of cource

 

The guy wasn't really racing.. He stood idle for about 5 seconds after going.. Weird..

 

and to lauch the 8 you have to get wheel spin or the car will bog down

HAH that's so funny! I've had almost exactly the same thing happen! The only difference was that I pretended that it shouldn't happen to see how worried he would get. He freaked out and said my car would blow up, and turned right immediately...it was great.

 

I can't. First of all I might hurt the guy's feelings. Second, my wife won't let me.

 

The thing is that the race wasn't even that long. messing with my sister's cavi and my friends neon, I found that both cars were faster off the line, but couldn't hang after 50. and that was with a 04 AT with an extra 200 lbs in the trunk from my system.

does anyone know off hand how much a civic weighs?
