BTW, i love my 8, but alot of the owners here seem to have their heads very far up their a*sses. Your stock RX8 is NOT FAST in the straights. And their are some very well tuned very fast civics out there. There are also very well tuned very fast RX8s out there.

I know street racing is not condoned but i've beaten EVO VII's and Mercades AMG 55's before, and i've also been beaten by STR4's before.
Take a stock Civic Vs. a stock 8 and have them run that same course, it would be a huge world of difference. Unless you're fluent in Japanese you have no idea what those list of specs truly means.

I must admit that I lost sorely to an RSX Type S on an open highway. I had him until about 5th gear and he just walked away. I know it was not stock because I have beaten RSX's before but I did'nt hear a blow off either.

the 8 was at a disadvantage .. wet roads + RWD = not good .. and it dindt even look like the 8 was trying.. lookd like he was just cruising .. and had a poor launch.. dont get me wrong ive seen some fast civics.. but that was an unfair run, and there was nowhere for the 8 to even pass the civic.. why try to pass when theres no room and cause an accident at high speeds on a wet road.. that wasnt a race..that was a joke.
