Wtf???

Ok, this is the second time i've had to have my tail light replaced. Down in texas the driver side filled with condensation. Two weeks ago we had a really bad rain storm and my passenger side FILLED up with water. (check pics)

does this happen to anyone else?

oh, and thank the lord for warranties

Ok I may be way off here but here's what I noticed. From the pictures it appears as though your trunk lid looks like it's lower than mine, almost like it doesn't quite line up with the rest. Do you have a 2004? I know there's a TSB on this in regards to the trunk lid interfering with the rear tail light housing. Sometimes when the trunk lid is shut harder than usual it can cause cracks in the rear tail lights.http://www.finishlineperformance.com...8-04-1248a.pdf

i have mine going in for that particular tsb tigger, the interference with the tail light would be in a perfect area for leakage into the area you showed. Mine only has some wear indicated inside the trunk and on the top of the light. Open your trunk and check out the top of your light, snowboarder (tigger's TSB link will have a picture that shows exactly where you should look). Good luck!

wow

that's very interesting. I'll check out my car tomorrow when the sun is up. I didn't even think about the trunk causing damage to my tail lights.

thanks

I can really notice it in the third picture you posted. It looks like it needs re-aligned.

I've had to have both mine replaced, too. But since they've been replaced I've had no problems. So I'm happy!

OK so will our warrantee cover condensation in the head lights?
After I read this I checked my head lights and I see a film on the plastick its not clear and when my lights are on you can see it big time even in the day time.
This is so odd I have never had this prob with my tail lights.

they will replace your head light under the warranty also. I had the same "film" on my headlights when I bought the car and had them replaced the next day.
