wax!

Waxed my 8 for the first time, so you know I had to take some pictures. :D I still haven't managed to wake up "early" enough to get the lighting I want for these pictures but they still came out not too bad. It was finally a nice sunny day with hardly a cloud in the sky. Enough blabbering, heres the pictures:

Whitehot--Your car looks great. Never had the privilege to go to Hawaii, but if you say that lighting's not perfect, I'd hate to see it when it is! Beautiful scenery...

I want to move to Hawaii, and those pics are helping to motivate me.

The car looks beautiful.

Wow ... that's hot. Love the scenery. I seem to remember you having clear corners or was that the other fellow with the white 8 (sister with the Eclipse). The first pic is nice because of the reflection of the garage grill thingies on the hood of the car/windshield. Anyways, very nice.

Lol, that's a 20-something disease. Fortunately there's a solution -- just stay up :p

That's right! I just looked at your pics again. You guys have identical cars ... I guess the corners are the only way to tell huh?

have you ever pressed the trunk opening button on the key fob accidently while taking the keys out of the ignition?

Actually I haven't, I think I grab the key from the sides where there aren't buttons (instead of top and bottom). That trunk pop button on the key is one of my favorite buttons though. A couple of the pictures near the ocean the sun is hitting the front more than the side I'm taking the picture from. I need to get up at least 8-9am to get what I want. I get off work at midnight and tend to go to sleep pretty late every night so thats why I can't get up early. I like those hours though, its like I'm "required" to sleep in every day. :D Another neat thing about living on a small island is that it makes my car more unique; at the moment I have the only white RX-8 on the island.

The bonus is that you can do an entire RX-8 "cross country" trip on One Tank of gas!

(Perhaps this is the market that those Mazda engineers sized the fuel bladder for.)

As long as it doesn't rain its not too bad. If it does rain, especially combined with the red dirt we have over here, it gets pretty messy. I think I end up washing my car every other week or so. I can't stand driving around with it dirty...
